Shopping in Brussels

The Sablon area, for example, is known for bringing together a large number of antique shops and chocolate shops, like the Pierre Marcolini brand, one of the best in Belgium. In the Marolles neighborhood, you will find a bustling flea market operating daily from 6 am to 2 pm (on weekends until 3 pm). The fair where the bargain prevails is at Place du Jeu de Balle / Vossenplein.

Well-known international brands such as Zara, Bershka and Le Pain Quotidien are located on the wide and charming Avenue Louise, the so-called Champs Elysées in Brussels, a place worth visiting on foot even if you do not intend to spend anything. Two other streets in the city where stores of brands such as those mentioned above are located, in addition to H&M, Primark, Mango and Esprit, are Rue Neuve (coladinho is the shopping mall City2 ) and Chaussée d'Ixelles.

Chic neighborhood

Those looking for something much more refined - and expensive - can't help but put the Dansaert district on the map. An address full of very promising fashion boutiques and studios for young designers. Another place that exudes glamor in the Belgian capital are the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert: Galerie de la Reine, la Galerie du Roi and la Galerie des Princes, full of amazing stores, several of them with chocolates like Neuhaus and Godiva (both in the galerie de la Reine ), in addition to the breathtaking architecture.

Remembering that the galleries are just a few steps away from the Grand Place, the most famous tourist spot in Brussels and that it is also surrounded by shops, several of them are souvenirs. Important tip for those on a budget: save some good euros by buying chocolates and beers at a Carrefour Express store. There are several scattered around the city!
